ABOUT
Story
Child A: Grandpa, I’m so confused! Today, my teacher taught us that the word for babies is infants, but all my clothes say Enfants. Is it spelled wrong?
Grandpa: Haha, come here, my little one! Your teacher is right, but there’s a special reason why our family brand is called Enfants.
A long time ago, your great-grandfather lived in a small town called Mahé. It was a beautiful place, once home to French settlers. Because of that, many people there spoke with a little French touch. Your great-grandfather, too, picked up this way of speaking and used to pronounce infants as enfants—just like the French do!
Years later, when I had a dream to create the softest, safest clothes for little ones like you, I remembered that word. Since I grew up hearing enfants—which means children in French—I decided to name the brand just that, keeping a piece of his roots alive.
So no, my dear, your clothes aren’t spelled wrong. They carry a name filled with history, love, and a little bit of French magic!
Mission
Child A: Why do you always wear the same clothes? Other kids wear shiny ones!
Child B: Because I feel good wearing these clothes! When I wear those shiny ones, I feel itchy, sweaty, and they give me rashes... And did you know they’re not good for the Earth?
My grandpa says, “Wear what makes you happy and lets you play!” These clothes let me run, feel soft on my skin—that’s why I always wear them.
Vision
Child: Grandpa, my teacher asked me to write about my family. I’ll start with you! Can you tell me more about yourself?
Grandpa: Oh, my dear, where do I begin?
I’m from South India, and I’m the founder of enfants. When your mom was expecting you, I used to sit and dream about holding you for the first time. I wanted to give you the very best—something soft, something safe, something that felt like a hug even when I wasn’t around.
That’s when I thought, why should it just be for you? Every child deserves clothes made with love—gentle on their delicate skin, free to move and play in, and kind to the world they’ll grow up in. That’s how Enfants was born.
It started as my way of wrapping you in love and warmth, a little piece of us that would always stay with you. But soon, I realised it wasn’t just my dream—it was something every child deserved.
So enfants became more than just a brand; it became a promise.
A promise to make only what is truly needed, without waste or excess.
A promise to create clothes that are simple, safe, and timeless—never about status or trends.
